SW Session 47: Pocket Brokket.
General Summary
After a day or two on Captain Sallow's Hallow Wake The Crew had arrived at The Pits.
They first visited The Broken Bell and had to grow accustomed to Grezla and her strange hospitality. Brokk grew very accustomed to it and he ate one of the mushrooms he bought in Greddac and became enlarged. This got the attention of an Orge called Gurt and the couple became intwined. Then he beacme extra small and Gurt wanted him as a pet.
They got information about the strange magic that protects the Pits from Nightmare and decided it was best to speak with The Ragged King as soon as they could.
The Ragged King was a pile of bones within the centre of the city. The party shouted at the pile of bones for help and advice on how they could defeat the Nightmare. Leone Laponis also asked if they had seen Sturt Oakenshield in which the King had done. Out of the bone pile he revealed the body of Sturt. Sturt's limbs had been ripped off and was being held together by a faint magic.
The Ragged King told them that it is only with the power of the Pits that Sturt is still living. The Crew demanded that he help them defeat the Nightmare and he agreed. Only if they can overpower him.
The pile of bones merged and revealed a great skeletal golem which was the Ragged King. They fought each other and eventually The Crew bested the him. Therefore he felt the Crew were worthy and allowed them to take the Moonbeam Lantern from the Gallery of Regrets.
