The Weg
This is a big (and heavy) sign composed of three letters; a large 'W', a relatively tiny 'e', and an elongated 'g'. The fronts of these letters are covered with a plastic that light shines through, while the sides are painted a pure black. It was most likely part of a display sign from the old world, given how stylized the letters in relation to their size. There are signs of damage and tearing to the right of the 'g' implying that there was more to this sign, but it could never be found nowadays among all the rubble.
For a while this sign was treated as a trophy by biker gangs of West Henry Etta's, but it has since fallen in importance and value. It's current location is unknown and it may be lost forever unless someone makes an active effort to recover it...
Mechanics & Inner Workings
The backside of The Weg has no covering, leaving the metal framework open to anyone curios enough to look inside. The metal pipes and supports making up the framework are too bent and oddly-shaped to be useful in any repair jobs, so it has been left intact. There are various sockets that would perfectly fit light bulbs ends, but those sockets clearly haven't held anything for quite some time (light bulbs are too sought-after to be used so frivolously). Filling the sockets back up and running a current through each of them would undoubtedly put on a beautiful display, but it would be a tremendous waste of resources.
Manufacturing process
Only the manpower and peace of the old world could have created something of such specificity of such a large size.
Significance
This was once a sought-after trophy. Choppers and their gangs who used to roam West Henry Etta's would plunder each other, often stealing supplies and resources to keep themselves alive. As these heists became more frequent, the gangs would start stealing random shit just to prove a point. Stealing The Weg from another gang was an achievement; it took coordinated effort to dislodge and at least two bikes to transport. If you stole it, you had the best gang.
As the biker gangs of West Henry Etta's started to settle down, The Weg lost its value. If you're a Hardholder, why care about a trophy when you've got food and water to protect? Similarly, if you're a Chopper why waste so much effort trying to bring back useless junk? Nowadays, The Weg is only good for getting old Drivers teary-eyed.
