Session II: Klarg

General Summary

The party clears out the remainder of Cragmaw Hideout, taking on and defeating Klarg and his enforcer lieutenant. After alerting Klarg's guards to their presence with their laterns and and having a water trap triggered on them, they found themselves facing a very alert and prepared foe,but in the end only a single lone goblin, left completely without allies after Klarg's death at the climax of the battle, survived to flee back to whatever larger and more remote goblin warren they'd all originated from.
Discovered within Klarg's den was a stash of pilfered treasure alongside supplies that had been lifted from previous wagon raids purchased for Lionshead Coster back in Phandalin, as well as a stash of difficult-to-read papers written in what has to be the goblins own handwriting. Once back in Phandalin, these may shed some light on what this band of goblins was doing out here so close to why, and perhaps on behalf of whom...
For now, the party sets up camp a final time, this time outside in fresh air instead of within the confines of the damp and goblin-stench-infested caverns.
