Broon accosts Beor

Criminal Activity

The brothers, Beor and Broon, engaged in a vicious argument on the edge of blows. Nuema attempted to end it by destroying the source of the animosity, a pastry in a brown bag. Beor lept to protect it, sustaining mortal injuries, and Broon ignored his brother's state to quickly eat it. As the party watched, the effects took hold and Broon entered a dream like trance.

On their way to the House of the Morninglord, the Mistwalkers encounter a disturbance on the mud filled paths of the Village of Barovia. Two men of uncanny similarity, brothers, in a heated argument on the verge of violence in regards to a brown bag. Stepping in, Neuma demanded calm. One man, Beor, explained in a desperate tone that he had purchased a pastry which his brother, Broon, had taken from him and was contained in the bag. The bag was dropped and the bickering resumed until Neuma attempted to smash the pastry as a final resolution. Beor lept to the ground in front of the blow, staving his ribs from the hammer, and Broon ignored his brother's mortal injuries to hurriedly scarf the pastry. As the party looked in horror, a placid expression came over Broon's face from an ever deeper stupor.
