The East Gate

The East Gate is one of the official entrances to the City of Rime, the only one based on land. It is used by herders driving in caribou to the markets, and anyone other than members of he Cohort entering or leaving the city by ways other than the port. There is a holding area inside the gate where anyone entering the city is interviewed and processed to ascertain their Gifted status.
