Bloodbriar

Bloodbriar is a species of plant capable of surviving under Rime’s sunless skies. It has no leaves, just long thorns and tendrils that grow into the rock walls it climbs. It draws its nourishment directly from the ground, and got its name partly from the dark red color of its vines and partly from the lore that it grows out of the buried bodies of gifteds who were murdered and interred to establish the first wards.

Bloodbriar is used to create a dark burgundy red dye used for clothing of High Quarter inhabitants.
