Enchantment

An arcane discipline that allows a mage to impart a piece or all of a spell permanently in a non-magical item.

Enchantment is closely tied to alchemy, almost all alchemical equipment uses enchantments to run autonomously, and enchantments often need magical materials that only alchemy can efficiently create.
