Divinity

The power of thought is undeniable, it is thought that fundamentally powers all forms of the supernatural, thus convergence of the thoughts of many can become incredibly powerful. This convergence is the core concept behind the power of the divine, although the individual faithful may not be able to generate much power with their thought power, but many together sending the energy of thought to a single source can amount to truly awe inspiring power.

Classification of the Divine

There are two major classifications of deities: Apotheosized, beings that were not born with divine power, and Inherent, being born with divine power.   Breaking down these categories further, there are several ways in which a being can become divine. The simplest of which would be to be given divinity by a powerful divine being, such is the case with the saints in the Dawn's Light religion. A sub category of given divinity is earned divinity, such as the enlightened of The Path of Twelve who become divine beings without being worshiped directly, because in a sense they have become piece of the the path itself. Another method of apotheosis, and the more traditional approach, is gaining a religious following. The only necessity is for the followers to concentrate their minds on the object of their religion for long enough and consistent enough that divinity will slowly form around it, which can be anything, if non-living or of animal intellect this budding divinity will grant sapience.
