Getting Started

1. Take a look at the Character Creation process Building a Character
   • Choose your race. Each race page has information to help build your character.
   • Choose your class. Each race has preferred classes, and some unique archetypes (sub-classes) to help it fit better in the world.
   • Choose your class features: evil humanoids and aberrations are common foes; locations are mostly underground or urban; some social skills and knowledges will be helpful.
2. Create your Background.
   • Choose a Name
   • Choose your alignment
   • Choose your place of origin. There is a table with relative rarity in "Building a Character".
   • Choose 2 traits. Character Traits in Riesa At least one should be from the provided list to help your character fit into the world of Riesa or provide a reason for adventuring.
   • Choose your motivation for adventuring and other supporting details. (If you need some inspiration, there are some random generators and lists available here: Character Inspiration - Generators & Tables .
3. IMPORTANT:Either (a) create a World Anvil account and create your HERO/Character. Tim will send you the link to connect your character; or, (b) send Tim as much information about your character as you like, and he will create the character and link it here.
4. Optional. Explore the world around you. What does your character already know? Check the Lore and/or Maps section at the bottom of this page for suggested articles and locations.
