Flare

A power that was first created when scientists, against ethical codes, performed Remnant DNA experiments, causing the powers of the Remnant to be combined with the Genome of the person.

Transmission & Vectors

First melded with the DNA of many Rhydan subjects, most of these scientists have been arrested, but their experiments live on in Rhydan culture. Due to the nature of the power, it can be passed on from generation to generation through DNA.

Causes

Breaking many ethical laws and moral codes, these group of scientists, who all mostly operated around the same time, gave birth to this society of semi super people.

Symptoms

Tamarnee Tears
Flaming tears: One of the strangest symptoms of a Flare, possessed by Jaimie Tamarnee and her family's heat based flare.   There are varying symptoms depending on the type of Remnant that one was melded with, how it reacted with that person's DNA, how many generations the Flare has been with families. But the most common however is a faint glow from under the skin that shines the color of the dominated Remnant within the person's DNA.

Treatment

There is no known treatment for this, as trying to split the Remnant melded into their DNA has a high chance of destroying their DNA and killing them.

History

Though not done with any modern technology, Daya the Unrelenting was the first known case of a Rhydan Flare, having a PrimRose based Flare that allowed her to persuade and control weaker life forms as well as life force powers she could project into huge flames. Thought to be so connected and in tune with the PrimRose Remnant that she was granted this immense power. Though with this specific Flare being so rare it is thought that someone with this is a direct descendant of the Daya Pasarin line.
Morgan of the West
Known simply as Morgan of the West. Thought to be a long descendant of Daya herself, possessing much of the same Flare as her. Apart from the creation of light blue flames instead of bright yellow.

Cultural Reception

Culture has had to form around these new super powered individuals, being much strong than just simple Rhydans with Swyns. These people's powers can vary from super strength to controlling elements.
