Precila was the Former who create elves . She lived before the time of Thi. The written history from this time period is incomplete, but stories of Precila highlight her affinity to nature and animals. As a Former, she held a spark of creation. While not all Formers are revered as godly figures, Precila's influence on the land brought her to the status of goddess. Traditionally, she is referred to as the goddess of forests, although some also consider her to be the goddess of domestication or motherhood.

Precila is culturally, the goddess of the elves. Modern elves do not adhere to worshiping her as it seems older generations of elves did. Her domain has also been picked up in other areas of Rhina, as well. Anyone who is looking for a goddess to guide them in harmony with the forest or animals may be drawn to Precila.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

As a Former, Precila does not technically have a fixed physical appearance or sex. However, depictions are of a feminine elf and stories use "she" in reference to the goddess. She is said to have preferred a tall form with long, dark brown hair, and a soft overall appearance.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

The personal life of Precila is mostly unknown. Legends suggest she disagreed constantly with the other Formers, leading her to move to the area of modern Widud. Here, she molded the elves and helped them to establish a foothold on the world. Because their Former was isolationist, many consider this the origin of the elves isolationist start on life.
Precila is also said to have appreciated animal companionship. She most likely had some amount of supernatural ability to communicate with animals, or influence them. Stories tell of her companion, a dog named Floris. Many of these legends suggest that Precila used her spark of creation to bring dogs into existence, seeking a friendly version of the wolf for her people. Other accounts from Formers contradict this, stating that it would not be possible for a Former to create anything; the power of the spark they held was to create new people, not entirely new species. Still, it is not such a stretch from people to dog.
For unknown reasons/I will write something better some day, Precila willed death upon herself. The Formers were effectively immortal, but could choose to leave this life when they were ready. Precila chose to use her death to create the range of mountains to the west of modern Widud, creating the an isolated land for her people to live in.
