Formers

The Formers were the first people created by Thi. They held a spark of creation at their inception and created the different races native to Rhina. Thi decided that the power to create should not be in the hands of people, and took back the power of creation from Formers. They retained the ability to change between forms, but would never be able to create new races the way they first had.

All children born lacked the ability to create forms or even change their form. If their parents didn't have a form at the time, one seemed to be assigned at random to the child. Additionally, Formers seem to be either immortal or extraordinarily long-lived; there are no known cases of natural death for Formers.
