Citlalicue Lindquist

Citlalicue was a healer with a clinic in Skaia, specifically Hlioir. She was considered the best healer in Skaia, potentially all of of Dae. In addition to treating patients, she also trained many apprentices.   Citlalicue is best known posthumously for developing a ritual to capture the soul. The research was supposedly completed on the ritual, but Citlalicue suddenly stopped working on the project. She refused to test her latest iteration of the ritual, and closed her clinic for a week. She burned her notes. She kept her students at the clinic during them time, and swore them to secrecy. This worked for a year, but the her fear consumed her and she realized there was only one way to keep the information truly secret.   Citlalicue died in 1176ToP. With her knowledge of medicine, she first poisoned all of her students, then drank the poison herself.

Mental characteristics

Education

Citlalicue was formally trained in herbal medicine as well as magical healing. She obviously had some innate magic that she was able to employ to assist in her healing.

Mental Trauma

For her time in the clinic, Citlalicue was described as a kind and thoughtful person by her patients. Her students described similarly, that she was kind and extremely attentive to her patients, often staying overnight at her clinic to ensure their care. This often came at the detriment of her students, who would not receive as much attention from her as they might have wanted.   All of this is the say that her suicide was unexpected. Retrospectively, some say the clinician was more distracted in the final year of her life. Others from Hlioir claim to have seen the shift from the day a year before her death when she temporarily closed the clinic.
