Skaia

Skaia, despite its large borders, is actually a fairly small country, with most of the real estate of the country taken up by the mountain range, Hultois mountains. The people take advantage of the mountains as much as they can, building along cliff sides and mining the mountains for ores. They also have the coast of the ocean on the west side, creating two largely different cultures. By combining these two resources, however, they are able to use the water to easily sail to trade mined ores.

Government

Skaia is recognized from the outside as a single country. The most accurate description of Skaia is several princedoms with contractual agreements. The contracts mainly outline trade agreements, however they also support peace between the princedoms, and create an alliance between them. The contracts are periodically re-written, and the next version of the trade contract will most likely solidify Skaia is a true unified country.
