Oe Mandolin
The wielder of this instrument is destined to save Hom. Or even the world. (Or, then again, maybe not.)
Once the user attunes to the instrument the next 1d4 foreign languages or concepts the user encounters come naturally to them. The user can not be charmed or frightened. Every spell the instrument grants access to can be cast once per day. Spells cast through the item are cast as any others. The instrument can cast fly, invisibility, levitate, protection from evil & good, cure wounds (3rd level), dispel magic, and protection from energy (lightning only). All spells cast through the instrument which require a charisma save cause the save to be made with disadvantage. Possession of the instrument is quite taxing. The user must sleep (or meditate) for longer (an extra 2 hours) to make up for it. A non-bard who attempts to play the instrument will take 1d4d4 psychic/radiant damage.
