A bag of holding resembles an average bag which can be of any design. The same ritual used to create the bag can be used on a smaller bag to create a lesser bag of holding. (and vice versa) The average bag of holding can hold up to 500 pounds. (it fits as long as it can be stuffed into the bag) Retrieving an item from the bag requires an action.
If the bag is overloaded it will (r)eject the object which was placed within it as well as 1d6 other items. If the bag is pierced, torn, etc. the contents are dumped into The Shallows. The former bag contents will drift away into the sea within 1d6 days. Breathing creatures inside the bag can survive up to a number of minutes equal to 10 divided by the number of creatures (minimum 1 minute), after which time they begin to suffocate.
