Church of the Four Pillars
The Church of the Four Pillars is a religion mainly followed by the people of the Erimi Desert. Worship is centered around four primal spirits that represent each element.
Moto, The angry spirit of fire
Uchafu, the stoic spirit of earth
Maji, the tranquil spirit of water
Upepo, the cheerful spirit of wind
This small pantheon is known as The Four Pillars, because they are believed to be the structural integrity of all existence. In the Merchant City of Baishara, There are four temples, each dedicated to a spirit. These temples are placed as follows;
Northern Temple of Upepo
Southern Temple of Maji
Eastern Temple of Uchafu
Western Temple of Moto
Worship takes the form of magical displays of each element in ceremonial dances that can last for days.
The Four are the essence of all things, let us give thanks to them for every drink, crop, and ray of sun.
