The Bishop's Senate

The Emperor of Myeon's governance is supplemented by the Senate, a council of Bishops hand-selected by the Emperor. It is a position kept for life, even if that life is shortened by that position, which does not happen often. Eight Bishops have seats on the Senate, led by the Prime Minister, who is usually a senior member of the Church.
