Palace of Beautiful Dawn
The Palace of Beautiful Dawn is the primary palace in the Court of Splendorous Light, standing on its northern end and flanked by the two main gardens of the complex.
Purpose / Function
This palace houses the Heir of Myeon and their first spouse, as well as any children born to them and their primary spouse.
Architecture
The Palace is built in the "courtyard house" style common to Myeon, with a central main hall for work, receiving guests and holding ceremonies; a northern hall where the Sun Prince and his main spouse may sleep and take leisure on the first floor, the second floor being reserved for the Sun Prince's unmarried daughters; two side halls for his sons and their spouses; and a southern hall for his trusted servants.
