Eurgard Grand Palace
The royal seat of Eurgard doesn't appear too imposing from the outside, with only three floors visible; the only remarkable thing is the greenhouse that takes up nearly three acres of land outside it. When you enter, however, you are greeted with the grand staircase that leads four floors down, the majority of the palace sunken underground for the insulation it provides. The castle is anything but dark and damp, despite being underground — torches and careful insulation keep it warm, dry, well-lit, and most of all, welcoming.
