Lost Remnant Infiltrators
Brainstorming Remnant Infiltrators
Overview: .
Russian Chinese Faction/ Sino-Russo: A nation run by a strong dictator. They focused heavily into stealth technology and have a web of spies everywhere. One of their lasting accomplishments is active camouflage stealth suits, which make the wearer near invisible to the naked eye.
They also made a lot of money through the production and distribution of illicit substances.
A current power struggle is going on in the nation due to the main dictator dying of natural causes but leaving no clear successor. One faction has completely split off, stealing loads of classified technology and weapons to sell to the highest bidder.
It is possible this is where the augmented humans come from, a literal caste born of greater and stronger ambition.
The ones that made it here, some are Cyborgs with advanced life mechanics. They lead the others, mostly those originally added and simply still alive due to mutations and/or life extension technology. A few wastelanders have been converted, but those are a scant few.
A lot of them had life-extending technology implanted into them, but it left them in a near zombified state.
They have a uniform jumpsuit, which most still wear.
Some of them have completely degraded into ferals, still wearing their uniforms but only seeking to survive.
Inspiration: Fallout Chinese Remnants.
Institute Things?: Could be making false people androids, probably kidnapping and replacing them.
started with human like robots, but somewhere they figured out how to make near perfect human copies. Create wastelanders to infiltrate places.
Triggermen Connection: For some reason, probably through trade or perhaps a lucky mobster, Mobster clothes have infiltrator's weave added to make seemingly normal clothes far stronger than expected.
Remnant Units
Remnant Soldier: Armed with the Remnant Assault Rifle and often a scavenged knife, these guys are the basics. They often have backpacks full of scavenged gear and their jumpsuits are covered in scrap armor.
Remnant Captain: Similar to Remnant Soldiers, only with Remnant Combat Armor, a bit more durable Jumpsuit, a fancy hat denoting their rank, and especially their officer swords.
Remnant Phantom: Still wearing their phantom suits and wielding enhanced swords, these Remnants blink in and out of existence to kill their prey, sowing fear and disarray wherever they strike.
Remnant Feral: These Remnants have lost their minds to the ravages of time. While they still wear their uniforms, their flesh and skin is barely hanging on, only the cybernetics powering them.
Remnant Tech
Remnant Overview: Tech they use that is literally artifacts by some definitions.
All-Purpose Jumpsuit: A jumpsuit serving as a basic uniform for all. In the wasteland it has often found itself with a backpack and scavenged armor attached to it. It is more durable than it seems, thanks to Tactical Infiltrator Weave.
Tactical Infiltrator's Weave: This is a special form of fibers that can mimic the appearance of normal clothing, but in reality can resist bullets and impacts. While it stands little chance against high powered rounds, it is resistant to small-arms fire and knife attacks.
Remnant Combat Armor: Combat armor meant for espionage and stealth missions.
Stealth Field Projection: It is sort of holographic tech in nature, bending light in such a way to make it harder to view. However, there are specialized goggles which can see through it.
(Light) Stealth Suit: A full suit of form fitting armor that when active, renders the user practically invisible. Uses holographic technology to power a light-deflection field which makes viewing difficult, but can be subverted with either a power drain or a form of stealth viewing glasses that can see through the disguise. It also makes a light shimmering, but is far less visible in general.
Officer Sword: Seems out of place, a full sword. It is meant as a sidearm for when their normal weapons fail. Some of them are augmented with tech, having electrical and flame abilities.
