They are the leaders of a clan
They can be found around the town center wandering around and inside the hall which is where most their time is spent and where they reside. It’s also where the different chief’s meet for discussion.

Qualifications

The current chief chooses his successor. If the chief dies unexpectedly then one of the chief closest friend is chosen. This route leads to more unpredictability.

Appointment

The chief choses their successor and if the chief dies unexpectedly then their closest assistant is appointed. This unfortunately leads to more unpredictability like chaos.

Responsibilities

Keeping the clan in check, communicating issues with clan members and meetings with different chiefs if there’s a problem. Also getting an opinion on a new law.
