Oriasall

Oriasall is known as a free-state for the sylvan people and other fae-folk. Ruled over by Alsbeth Treeminder, this place has become a sanctuary for those who have been faced with hardships and discrimination due to their fae ancestry. Oriasall is a sought after city by Reole, and many other factions due to it's fae wild like nature. The rare resources found in that area are inherently part of Alsbeths rule, and should that change, so to will the fae wilds.

Demographics

90% elven, 5% sylvan, 5% other.

Government

Monarchist, decided by Yggdrasil when they choose a chosen champion. The chosen champion is one that will dedicate their life to preserving nature and the forest.

Defences

The island itself is forested and the faewilds block most approaching forces from entering. The folk within the forests outside oriasall are not keen on trespassers. They will usually attack trespassers on site and bring them to Oriasall to be judged. That being siad, very little gets through without Alsbeth's notice due to her extensive spy network.

Industry & Trade

They mostly subsist off of trade internally and do not need many exports to survive. Since their nation does not rely on the gold coin, they usually trade using barter systems and contracts. They are extremely isolationist and therefore do not trade beyond their borders.

Infrastructure

Their whole city is within several redwood sized oak trees that make a gigantic forest off the coast of the east. Their infrastructure is centered around being within treehomes and most natives are adapted to live in nature. Though they lack modern technology, they are extremely proficient in magic and use magic to get through the day-to-day needs that most other civilizations use technology for.

Assets

ANY natural substance can be found in their wilds, and they have many rare and exotic ingredients sought after by so many.

History

The place of Oriasall was always a heavily wooded faewild within the material plane, as it was placed near one of the many saplings of Yggdrasil. It wasn't until Alsbeth, one of the champions of Yggdrasil was chosen that it blossomed to the safe haven for sylvan-kind it is today. Oriasall has always been focused on community and the well being of all people's within it, as commanded by Yggrasil itself.
