Chief Elder Asteli Torin-Kinereth Danae

A young half-race that came from the magical connection between a Norn elder and a Dryad who spoke for Yggdrasil. These two came together, and created the child known as Asteli. Asteli was a quiet and relatively laid back individual until the day she found the blackened and invisible strings within their mother's weave in the year 1700.

Personal history

Asteli grew up with the constant pull of the Norn directly in their ear, and to this day their hagmother can be felt pulling them back to the triumvate, and back to the coven. Asteli has always been caught between two worlds, because as a dryad they are supposed to be protectors of nature and to oversee the protection of the natural world as they know it. As a Norn they are destined to succumb to the calling of the changeling and join the coven their mother has set up. This constant pull between their lives is only exemplified when in the presence of both their parents alone. Having taken up their position as the chief elder and speaker for Yggdrasil it is unlikely that they will succumb to the calling. Their mother, Torin, was the single elder who refused to elevate them to the position after the threads blackened. Torin even hid the findings from the other elders until absolutely necessary in 1700 when the primordial spirits started to break away from the druids.
