The Scalding Wastes

The Scalding Wastes is an area in The Flare. it stretches across a large central area of the plane. it is primarily flat, cracked dark stone, above lava in many places, with crevices leading into that lava, steam geysers, and volcanic activity. Some parts are permanently aflame. Without proper preparation, the standard traveller will quickly become exhausted travelling across it.
