Tiefling

Tieflings are the offspring of mortal parents with a fiend somewhere in their ancestry. A tiefling could be the direct offspring of a half-demon with a mortal, or a family could give birth to a tiefling after generations of apparently normal mortals.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Tieflings typically share the general form of their mortal parents, but with fiendish aspects. One might have red skin and sharp teeth, while another has hooves and a pointed tail. Short horns are common.

Behaviour

Despite their heritage, tieflings are not any more predisposed towards evil than others of their parent species. They tend to have unusual charisma and allure, which helps them work around the instinctive discomfort many beings have around them. Tieflings are often devious, but they have the capacity to turn that towards whatever moral ends they choose.
