Storm Crow Herald
A flying lightning sorcerer of the high seas.
Prestige class. Caps at level 5.
Requirements:
Pass the Trials of the Eight Sovereign Seas
Ability to fly naturally (wings)
Advancement:HD d10
WP as Rogue, stacks with any class
Casting level stacks with any divine or arcane class
Spell progression as Sorcerer, spells limited to lightning-, wind- and weather-related
Abilities by level:
lvl 1: Lightning Cry: Once per day per Storm Crow Herald (SCH) level, you may empower a target. The target gains +2d6 lightning damage on lightning attacks or melee attacks for 10 rounds.
lvl 2: Jump Spark: One per day per SCH level, you may jump as lightning. When you activate this ability, you strike a single target for lvl d6 lightning damage and may teleport/misty step to a spot within line of sight.
lvl 3: Wings of Thunder: For one round per day, you may double your movement, cause fear, and add 4d6 sonic damage to your attacks or spells.
lvl 4: Whirlygig Dodge: While airborne, you may use this ability in response to a missile or melee attack to gain 50% miss chance for 3 rounds. You may use this ability once per encounter.
lvl 5: Herald of Storms: You gain immunity to lightning damage, ignore wind effects, and take 1/2 damage from cold.
