Captain of Eight
A bold naval leader who has passed the Trials of the Eight Sovereign Seas and inspires their crew to achieve legendary feats.
Prestige class. Caps at level 10.

Pass the Trials of the Eight Sovereign Seas
Be a captain of a vessel with a crew
Have followers
Be at least level 20
Advancement:HD: d10
Saves, caster level, THAC0 as whatever class you have 20 levels in.
No additional spells gained for level, but caster level does stack.

- Fearless Crew: Your crew gains a morale bonus equal to your Captain of Eight (COE) level. You can spend an action to gain a Remove Fear effect in an area around you. This effect only affects members of your crew.
- Keen-Eyed Savages: Your crew gains +1 to hit and +10% range bonus per COE level.
- Mighty in Deed and Need: Your crew gains +2 to damage, +1 to Str checks, +10% encumbrance per COE level.
- Armored in Glory: Your crew gains +2 AC and 3% miss chance for every COE level.
- Dashing Rogues of Fortune: Crew movement +10%, Lucky 1/day, 10% MR per COE level.
- Boundless Aggression: Your crew gains +1 attack for every 5 COE levels, +1 initiative per COE level.
- Clad in Deed and Sweat: Your crew gains damage reduction equal to your COE level.
- Bound to the Life: Your crew gains 5 permanent hit points and +2 to save vs mental per COE level.
- Few Fortunate Souls: Your crew gains +1 to saves per COE level and are immune to instant death effects.
- Unleash the Magic Within: You and each individual crewmember gains an innate magical ability. These abilities are Con-based (similar to the abilities of Twilight Elves) and are "likely" to be spell effects of level 1-6 Cleric or Wizard.
