2022/02/02: Rescue on Chae Report
General Summary
Knight, Sith, Abbadon, Malakai, Terana, Eldrin
A pretty powerful team of followers on Chae is getting chased around by a Corrupted fire sorceress and Corrupted psion. The team called us in as the big guns.
The follower team is the “Champions of Duskalor”: A big knight guy, two ranged paladins, an elf, a wemec, a one-man-band gnome, and a half silver dragon. All riding impressive mounts. They left immediately.
We killed the fire mage and the psion, though most of us took a bunch of mental damage in the process. The fire mage summoned a giant fire elemental thing, which she promptly lost control of after getting shot by Eldrin. The elemental was driven away by a superheavy rain Abbadon (or Malakai?) summoned by accident while messing with his sword.
Then after some recovery time, Sith tried to summon a Purifier to break the psion’s corrupted items. Instead, he got a young woman who worked on a farm. She turned out to be someone who would be a Purifier in the future (probably thanks to our intervention) and has great talent and attitude for a paladin. She was able to destroy the items, and she was allowed to keep the hammer. When we tried to bring her back home, we found the whole area had been attacked and all the people killed by bandits. If we hadn’t summoned her, she would have been dead.
