2021/10/06: Returning Home Report
General Summary
Knight, Keel, Immori, Sith, Ios, Doyle
The party returned to New Hallownest to check in and recuperate. They promptly encountered hostile mages just outside the city who attacked them with empowered wyverns and golems. And then, when those were defeated, a demon lord appeared and attacked as well. It appeared to be after Knight specifically.
After we weakened it and held it off for a few turns, Zolsikar and his army of death phase spiders finished attaching spells to it and dragged it into a pocket dimension to eat it.
We interrogated the archmage that Doyle stole mid-combat. They were a hit squad from Vet who were trying to kill Ios’s guardians and kidnap her. An evil wizard guy has taken over Vet again and has a list of things he wants done, with this being one of them.
Keel gave the hitmage a list of several places he could go to hide, including Castle Fallingstar. In return, he told Keel that the bad guys had a full dossier on Keel, but not on the rest of the group.
L. brought in a new character. Blue-haired angel person. Aurelin? Dark blue wings fading to white at the tips. Blue clothes. Double-bladed sword that glows blue. Has a solid blue divination crystal floating beside her. Light armor. She was sent to help defend Ios.
The demon’s name was Veragas the Unclean.
