Regulations Rolled Back

There wasn't many protections already but now the final Guard Rails protecting workers are finally repealed and rolled back. Now worker's rights were roughly at the level of the 1800s with even further rollbacks expected in the future. The Worker's safety and happiness were no longer a concern and even their age wasn't a concern to a point, workers couldn't be younger than 14 but they could do the same jobs as 30 or 40-year-olds. Accidents which were already bad only became more common, with Corporate PMCs now being empowered to beat and brutalise problematic workers. Some factories and facilities were so bad, they even cuffed up and restrained workers as they worked. NDAs were also vastly expanded beyond all reason which allowed Factories to keep Workers mouth's shut under the threat of death, allowing Standards and conditions to continue to slide and degrade. Thanks to the situation being so desperate, Workers still signed up for these suicide jobs just for the chance of feeding those they love and are willing to accept lower and lower wages to do so.
