Religious Persecution Upscales

Several Policy and Institutional Efforts to curb and prosecute certain religions upscale as a long-term project of not only criminalising faith but outright purging it from society advances. Using Religious Zealotry as justification, Multiple Groups of Muslims, Christians and Jews are rounded up and put into the US Prison System or outright executed. Multiple Churches were forced to shut down with Religion being increasingly criminalised, which made it harder for Churches to amass Social Power against the Regime.
  Real Religious Zealotry of course spawns from such a fanatic and inhumane crackdown which the Government uses as further justification to persecute. However, certain Mega-Churches manage to evade persecution by managing to identify themselves as a Corporate rather than a church. This type of action was not possible for Minority religions with pre-existing bigotry and discrimination barring those faiths from finding a way out.
