Neo Democratic Party

Introduction

The Neo Democratic Party is the leading party of America and has been since president Winter in 2021, though it was not always this way. The Neo Democrats are the successors to the Democratic Party but do not carry any liberal or Neo liberal ideology. Instead they forward the idea of Neo Democracy, Fascism repackaged with a new coat of paint.
It's been running a near one party system since 2030 and the election of Supreme President House, it's corruption stemming from the successful January 6 Insurrection. The Rioters were able to cause congress to de-certify the 2020 election, causing federal Agencies to swiftly seize control of the government and since the Democratic Party attempted to stop something like President Winters ever happening again.
Instead Authoritarianism and Nationalism overtook the party and they began using Vote Rigging, Gerrymandering and packing the courts to turn US Law and the system to their favor. By 2030, the US Shadow Government led by House committed a Coup D'état against the Newly and accidently elected Green Party government resulting in the indefinite suspension of Presidential elections.

Ideology

Neo Democracy is a repackaged version of Fascism, it is a system that prefers majority privileges which ends up in racist conclusions and consequences. The party uses Orwellian tactics to redefine words and meanings in order to fit their agenda. Being Anti Government doesn't mean you're a anarchist, to them it now means you're 'Anti Democratic'.
'Anti Democratic' behavior or thoughts is usually anything that questions or crosses the party. It's use originates from how cold war governments labeled ideas or behavior they didn't like 'Communist'. It's an ideology that's very protectionist and very much in favor of big government and corporatism. It is an ideology where everyone and everything is within and owned to the state.
While it is seemingly Capitalist, in truth everything is owned to the Government, every dollar is owned to them and they can take it any time they want and you are supposed to tear up and salute your nation, see it as a donation to 'The Greatest Nation on earth'. American Exceptionalism and American Supremacy are potent and pervasive influences with in, including rewriting American history.
While it owns up to past atrocities with Native Americans, it also rewrites the history books to absolve America of any true blame. Colouring all of America's adversaries as Evil monsters seeking to strip Americans of their way of life. The Government engages in severe McCarthyism in attempt to purge it's self of all Anti Democratic elements.
As a Neo Democrat, you fly Neo Us Flags, sing it's anthems and advocate for the expansion of corporate power all while believing yourself Liberal, or socialist, it doesn't matter. The Party is everything and you are nothing.

Budget and Strategy

2070's is still very much an age of information, so representation and presentation are still key aspects when it comes to Politics. Socially speaking America has yet to kill it's desire for Freedom and Independence so the Neo Democratic Party cannot yet announce the full scope of their Imperial nature or actions beyond city walls and beyond the view of Cameras.
Still it has been decades of subversion and corruption, the fusion of Imperialistic, fascistic imagery and traditional American imagery is far along and well established. Reactionary politics and Nationalism has embedded it's self deep into the American Psyche. The party engages in media and social manipulation to manage their PR and their hold on the weakened Democratic systems that still exist, if only by mere threads at this point.
The DNC is the management arm of the party and handles the financing and selection of candidates for the lower level elections that still occur. They also fund political events such as Imperial Guards Marches, military demonstrations and funds a good portion of the propaganda apparatus of the Neo American Government and has it's hands in the US government's functions.
The DNC Leader maybe as well serve as a second Vice President. They also donate massively into media to maintain favorable coverage as well as House using his executive power to force the media to say and do things. When it comes to laws, Neo Democrats pack many courts, namely the Supreme Court to always get the results they want whenever someone successfully challenges them.
They also use Progressive language and representation even though it's hollow, it's very effective feel good politics that maintains voter loyalty and convinces the voters that they're the good guys. It's completely hollow or usually two faced and the party has no intentions on aiding minorities or rebanning slavery, as the plight of the vulnerable is their main source of votes.
They also keep a very close and good relationship with mega corps like Maxwell and Hotoka to score huge promotions in return for favors and influence. Earning them the loving title of 'The Rat Party' referring to their favorable treatment of companies. Finally if all else fails there is the 'fortify election' option where Neo Democrat's will rig votes into their favor thanks to the many loop holes they've created for them selves, a practice originating from President Winter's final days before he incited insurrection.
This also lets them primary candidates that wish to change the party or systems, meaning the Neo Democratic Party only get increasingly autocratic with very few exceptions.

Policy Positions

15 USD Minimum Wage

Despite this already being long fought for in the past, a 15$ Minimum wage has still not been reached, instead it is floating at around 8$ and has been stuck there for decades, it is big topic and always a major issue but it never goes anywhere and the GOP are always blamed for stalling it despite holding a tiny fraction of the Senate and House in their best election cycles.
The worse part is, the livable wage right now is 31$ an hour. 

American Reunification

The Neo Democrats current and most major policy position is the total reunification of the country and the eradication of Waste cities and wasteland settlements. Bringing everything under the authority of the Federal Government. They see anyone outside of their dominion as traitors who are resisting the Government's peace efforts and meeting them with brutal force. 

Eradication of Religion

Separation between church and state is not enough for the Neo Democrats, they believe that humanity can only progress if they purge the very concept of religion from society by any means necessary. This first manifested in the Jewish Genocide and then the attempted genocide of Muslims earlier in the century. Neo Democrats wish to finish the job and then move onto Buddhism and White Evangelism. 

Prison Reform

The same old tired promises of reform and reconciliation are repeated every single election cycle yet no progress is ever made. Instead Prison conditions continue to get worse for prisoners and slavery practices are funded more and doubled down on as necessary for the American Economy. There is no progress being made here and likely never will be. 

Manifest Destiny

Imperialistic rhetoric grows with each decade of reclaiming America's old geopolitical power and it's holdings across the sea. Having secured it's holdings across Northern and Central America. it wishes to retake all of the pacific, retake the middle east and input Pro Western Governments in European countries. Steadily words such as 'empire' and 'Imperial' are increasingly normalized, decade by decade. 
A second element of it is the dream of conquering Mars and securing it for American Interests, purging all non compliant Martain Colonists. 

Expand Digital Currency

The neo Democratic party wishes to double the strength of Corp coin and use Digital currency as a full secondary currency. This'll increase the longevity of House's regime and perpetuate the government's power over the people. It is marketed as a way of resolving Wealth gaps between the classes.

Revitalize American Decay

The decay of multiple decades has begun to harm the PR of the Neo Democratic Party, many mayors are now beginning projects to dislocate impoverished populations and replace them with profitable districts. This may harm the affordable Housing efforts but the Neo Democrats mainly care more about image then whether or not the poor have housing. 

Restoration of Slavery

Prison Labor is no longer enough, to meet demands the Neo Democrats are currently working to strike down prohibitions against slavery but using a series of policies to slowly chip away at it. If Neo Democrats succeed, they could up GDP by a substantial amount and make Hotoka and Maxwell extremely happy, guaranteeing them the next series of low tier elections. 
It is being marketed as Involuntary employment and a means to reducing unemployment.

Banning The Republican Party

While they have the power to fully transition to a one party Empire, they still lack the sufficient social support for the move. This is due to the Republican's propagandizing and big money backing them. The Neo Democrats are awaiting the opportunity to ban the Republican party thus making the Neo Democrat party the only one who can run in elections. 
This is being marketed is banning Reactionary Christian Nationalism. 

Snuff out the Sparks

House has noticed the steady escalation of Rebellion and resistance against his regime, he and the party are putting together multiple plans and schemes to do just that. The Secret 3rd civil war being among the actions the Government is taking to try and reassert total control over America and of it's society. Major complications have delayed this plan and it shows no progress of advancing further for the moment. 
This is marketed as part of the War on Terrorism, characterizing Rebel movements as violent radical terrorists.

Neo Democrats very often play Patriotic music at events and announcements. It is meant to instill a sense of National Pride and inspiration. In the World of Neonphage the vast majority of patriotic songs have become highly associated with fascism and Nationalism. Even the National Anthem now carries the same baggage.
An example of what Military Marches look like in the 2070's, using the goose step march and lots of fan fare to invoke a sense of Militaristic pride and intimidation to would be dissidents.
