Light's Dream

The night before Lightning Before Thunder left the monastery on Shardcliff Peak, she had a strange dream. She was lost in a dense forest, crows calling out all around her in night. Even her dark vision was proving useless. She could feel an oppression and coldness surrounding her, and behind it - hatred.
Light did her best to navigate through the brambles and undergrowth, but felt despair creeping into her heart. And then, in a burst of sacred flame, she could see a clearing in the night forest. She made her way to the dancing silver flames and saw her Lavalier of Ashtyr within it. In the dream Light was not afraid and reached into the flames and gripped her necklace.
Immediately the darkness and cold were driven from her. A soft female voice spoke, seeming to come from the necklace. "Child of light I see you have started your search. I am pleased. Soon we shall meet, and truths will be revealed. But your way is shrouded in night. Your first steps will be harried by a dark soul among the green mountain. So it must be, but I will not let you and your companions suffer without my aid. The morning you go to face a great challenge of darkness, hold me to your heart and whisper the Great Goddess's name. You and your companions will be blessed by her love. This gift I grant only once, and only at this time. Ignore the gift for too long and it will fade. Believe in the truths. Protect with your shield, avenge with your axe. Cadash is in great peril, but we have not forgotten it."
Light awakened to feel her Lavalier warm to the touch. She could feel a holy power within it, and knew the dream was also an omen - a message from... Red Talon or perhaps the Great Goddess herself.

Light's Lavalier of Ashtyr can be used once to cast the Aid spell. It must be used in the morning. It will lose this ability after being used once. It will also lose this ability after Light reaches second level.
