She is the greatest of all hero’s in the Age of Ashtyr. She was the one who rose up against Chaos as it attempted to wrest the world away from the children of Yeno. It was Red Talon who founded the great city of Tyr and the knights that guarded it. Red Talon would return, time and again throughout the age. In one hand, the axe. In the other the shield. Red Talon is a heroic female warrior who wielded a magic axe and always carried a shield. She is usually portrayed as strong, beautiful and fearless.
Red Talon is most famous for her triumph over the forces of Chaos. In some versions, she faces the very avatar of Chaos itself. She is always accompanied by companions who aid her in her quest. It takes years, but she seeks out Chaos in various places in Cadash, and destroys the footholds of power it has created.
In some cases this required her to overthrow an elven kingdom. Other times she faced power sorcerers unleashing untold magic. Finally, though she lost many of her companions, she was able to stop Chaos, and seal it away for a millennia.
Other stories tell of her obtaining her magic axe from the depths of a moutain. She is said to have been the founder of the great city of Tyr, and identified the site of the Great Temple to Ashtyr that once stood there. Red Talon is also said to be the first of the Knights of Tyr.
Most unusual is that Red Talon died at the start of the Age of Ashtyr, and yet was seen again and again over the Age. She never looks quite the same, but she still wields the axe and shield, and is devoted to the Great Goddess. Because of this, most believe that Red Talon is an avatar of Ashtyr herself.
After the cataclysm, many hope that Red Talon will return to save Cadash, but she has not been seen in over a century. Most practical folk fear that she is nothing but a tale.

Historical Basis
It is difficult to confirm the existence of Red Talon in these times. Most of the records that may have contained the best information were contained in the great city of Tyr. But so far, very few written records have been extracted from The Rift. instead there are plenty of local legends and artifacts scattered around Cadash.
