Exploration Checklist
- Roll 3d20 for weather. (Typical Taneroa temperature around 90 degrees with light rain in the afternoon for an hour or two)
- Travel prep: pacing, direction, prep spells and gear.
- Navigation roll (Wisdom/Survival).
- Random Encounters. Each player rolls 1d8
- Resolve encounter (if needed).
- Conclude travel day. Prep watches and forage if necessary.
- Random Encounters. Each player rolls 1d8.
- Resolve encounter (if needed).
- Resume resting.
- Return to step 1.
- Fast pace: 5 hexes per day (-5 to passive perception and unable to stealth)
- Normal pace: 4 hexes per day
- Slow pace: 3 hexes per day (moving stealthily and can take time mapping adjacent hexes)
