Troglodyte
Troglodytes are barely intelligent race of humanoid type creatures that exist mainly on The Collar. They essentially to hostile to most humanoids and live very simplistic lives.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Troglodytes are a race of reptile like humanoids. They have reddish grey skin that allows them to blend in with the stone of The Collar. They are able to stand upright, having two legs and two arms, each with three digits each. When fully grown, they stand at about 4 feet tall.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Troglodytes are omnivores, capable of eating almost anything they can find.
Behaviour
Troglodytes live extremely rudimentary life styles. Due to their limited intelligence, they can wield and make simple tools with what they have at their disposal. They are not even capable of building shelters due to lack of resources, though it is theorized they could with enough. They wander and hunt through the majority of The Collar. They have been known to tame animals simpler than themselves
Additional Information
Social Structure
Troglodytes do appear to have some form of basic social structure. They travel around in packs with a Leader, who seems to be however can bussy or convince the others the best. However, because they lack the resources to create settlements or even shelter, they must constantly move and hunt, putting them in conflict with other groups of troglodytes, creatures, Delvers and Enforcers.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Like most creatures and beings of the Underground, they have the innate ability to see in the dark long distances. However, this vision for them is only in grey scale. Beyond this they only have the basic functions of perception that would be expected of a standard humanoid. The only thing extraordinary about Troglodytes is their ability to fully drink Red water without being harmed by rust.
Civilization and Culture
Gender Ideals
There does not appear to be specific gender roles among Troglodytes. Both male and female troglodyte have been observed caring for young and hunting. Gender also seems to have no impact on leadership structures in the troglodytes either. Ultimately whoever is able to control them the best is the "leader"
