riverland
Riverland is one of the many regions/ continents that still have monsters and humans, and also the last place where they both live together in The Ebony District. It was also the place where the calamity was sealed. The region is named after the family/kingdom of Rivaern, which in turn comes from this land having many rivers. It, like most locations with a magical history, has an effect on elemental pairs, partically with the pairings of wind/ weather, earth/ plant, enigmatic pairings, and death/ rot
Geography
The region has many lakes, with the most famous being Larain lake, the largest. Riverland also has many rivers (duh.), with the most well known being tailwind river, which starts at starling lake. The region is split into two smaller region, Ebony and Forcid. The Ebony District in particular is home to The Garden, Ebony thicket, Ebony Forest which has The Faelight Forest in it, and Ebony bay. Forcid is less magical, but it holds some. Unlike the Ebony District, only humans live in Forcid. It's not completely devoid of monsters, who live in secret. Forcid is where Riverland high is, nearby Forcid Woods. It's also very hilly.
Ecosystem
For the most part, Riverland works how you would expect a monster/human society to work. For this reason, and since the ecosystem is what you can expect from a forested, grassy area, in my documentation of the individual locations I will now include each's ecosystem as well.

Localized Phenomena
Riverland only has two phenomena that are localized, being The glowlight Tide, an event when the ocean's waters glow a bright blue or purple, and the mist, where most of the region gets covered in a strange mist, the same produced by the confusing mist spell.
Climate
The climate of Riverland is stable, with it's temperature shifting with the seasons, but never changing too much. The weather is fairly average for a forested region.
Fauna & Flora
As stated before, magic is more openly found within the Ebony district, but it's also hidden within forcid as well. Various types of monsters live in both regions, such as demons, elves, angels and more. Flora like the echo bulbs/ blooms, burning thistles, frostroses, thornsnaps and more live here along with non-magical flora.
Natural Resources
Many animals that live here live in the wild. Iron, gold, lead, and other standerd metal deposits can be found here, but things such as shardicon, adamantite, mythril, galvantium, pyrium, and hydrozite can also be found here.
History
Much of Riverland's past is unknown, but we can infer that monsters claimed this land first, and the first human settlers were aprat of an unknown group, but soon became known as The Kingdom of Rivaern. The monsters were weary at first, but soon grew to be comfortable with the intruders. It was long after did the first demons make it to the surface, and were accepted by the king. Duing the war, the kingdom fell to ruin, and it was where the calamity was sealed.
Tourism
