Pythia System
It was a lot brighter there. One sun sets, and the other stays, and you can still see a bit at night. I miss it.The Pythia system is one of several along IS-524, sometimes referred to as IS-524-2. It consists of two stars, one G-class and one K-class, 4 circumstellar terrestrial planets, and 1 circumbinary gas giant with multiple moons. The system's OnRamp, its most prominent manmade structure, is also considered to be circumbinary, and connects Pythia to the highway network.
History
A diverse and fertile system, Pythia was settled early in the Interstellar Era for use as a breadbasket for its region of space, with particular activity on Themis and Phemonoe. As the Interstellar Highway network expanded through to nearby systems like The Junction, Pythia made multiple submissions to the Universal Government about the benefits of their connection to it, such as higher quality and more diverse produce being accessible farther afield. The construction of the IS-524 quickly brought wealth to Pythia, as its closeness to the turn off from IS-24 made it an ideal system for crew changes, with significant employment for Pythian freight workers in Junction. As FTL technology improved, their food exports did as well, to the point of needing government intervention to prevent over-farming the rich soils for a quick profit. Business only improved with the introduction of Motrium Warp Drive-equipped freighters, whose new-found ability to 'skip' systems saw them use Pythia as their last stop before Junction, and often the same in reverse.Structure

The Pythian government can say what it likes about 'ensuring farming security' and 'prioritising health over profit'. We know they're lying. If they meant what they said, there wouldn't be folks starving on the street. Phoebe's full of it, because our farming's worse, and leaving us alone keeps profits high.
