Recognising Universal Skies

As humanity spans the galaxy, distant systems are connected by a series of Interstellar Highways - expensive and sophisticated tunnels through space that shorten journeys from millenia to months. It is little wonder that each system grows reliant on the Highways for their livelihoods, on the flow of people and goods as they stop on their long journeys.   But as spaceships grow more powerful, as fuel becomes more efficient, some systems are left behind.
