The Grass King has the executive rule in most matters, but in each province there are appointed lords, captains, priests and other governing people which makes for variations in organization structure.
History
Nar kingdom was founded a little over 1000 years ago as the Duchy of Abar's wealth and diplomatic influence grew. The provinces of Nar was united under the Grass Queen Sora with ease when her rule came with the promise of a comfortable life for all her subjects.

After the abaric expansion into Nar, The Duchy of Abar became a semi-autonomous state, given freedom to govern Abar by the ruler of the Nar kingdom.

Architecture
Narian architecture is a mixture of Tolderan and Abar styles. The two are almost each other's opposites, resulting in a unique expression with more decorative architecture closer to the Abar border, and a cleaner discreet style towards the Toldero border.Clothing
Narian clothing can incorporate the expensive fabrics and highly detailed frocks from Abar fashion, in the style of Tolderan wrapped fabrics.Fashion
Lace, silk, embroidery and painted designs like in Abar, but instead of all-covering details, it tends to be more centred on a specific part of the outfit. Sweeping togas, tunics and long bulky dresses paired with bonnets and lots of layering are in fashion.Military
Military uniforms vary between the adorned armour of Abar, to coats and pants paired with a tricorne or beret. Higher ranks often wear capes.

Legislative Body
The legislative branch is a bicameral parliament consisting of the House of Lords and the House of Commons. Nominees are selected by the people, but the monarch has the last say. The Grass King can veto laws. The legislative branch does not have the power to impeach them.
Judicial Body
Some provinces have their own court, and those that do have judges often working in more than one province or shouldering the responsibility of judge in addition to their other occupation. The capital Gunarg has its own judicial body, separate from the rest of the land. The king have the power to pardon criminals and grant clemency, overruling the judge's decision.
