Black Coyotes

Structure

As their founder, Haskala is the leader of the Black Coyotes, having formed the group from her personal biker gang. As their leader, she often chooses when and where they will ride to, either with particular destinations in mind or certain goals. Her rule is not absolute but from the garnered respect she has earned among them, primarily formed through trust and deep social bonds.   Collectively the group can reject proposals and routes from Haskala for any reason, as long as an alternative is provided. This method works surprisingly well and peacefully, with few instances of impulsive change and still keeping power to any other member to influence the group's decisions in critical moments.

Assets

The Black Coyotes are most well known for their motorcycles, using various models for different tasks. Most are made for long distance travel and slower due to having much larger fuel tanks, increasing their weight. Due to this, they are often used for hauling the majority of the group's supplies. Racing motorcycles are also used by the gang to chase down, box in, and corner targets along with scouting, despite their shorter long term range and more frequent need to refuel.   The gang is well known for using bats, pistols, and shotguns as their primary weapons, with every member being armed in some way. High amounts of fuel are carried among the group that at times are utilized in Molotov cocktails and broken glass for tire shredders.

History

The gang was formed from Haskala's personal biker gang, made up almost entirely of women. Before getting their name, they traveled around Laramida and never stayed anywhere for long, taking in the sights of the rural country and freely experiencing life as a nomadic group. Though they were known for often participating in illegal acts such as street racing, unruly parties, and bar fights, they truly became the vindictive gang after an incident with another group resulted in the destruction of several member's bikes and severe injury to one of the members in a bar fight. Haskala demanded revenge for the act, riling up the other members and recruiting more to the gang under the name 'The Black Coyotes', a homage to her divine parent, Mą’ii, The Coyote God's well known image. In her effort to seek revenge, the Coyotes earned more enemies after a long path of destruction, property damage, and personal injury to those associated with their rival gang.

Religion

Primarily, members of the Black Coyotes are followers of Ferventi, God of Wolves or Mą’ii, The Coyote God, although their pantheon often involves other gods commonly worshipped across Laramidia.

Worship

The Black Coyotes follow a much more modernized system of worshipping their gods for the majority of the year due to their near constant travel. Most members have small shrines or pocket altars, often stored in packs on their motorcycles. Some members will depict the myths of their patron gods on their bikes and use regular maintenance and refueling as a form of offering.
