Estate - Marich Manor

Owners

Marich Manor belongs to the wealthy and powerful Marich family, the head of whom is Lord Staryan Marich, who rules the province and the city of Razpotye on behalf of the Knyez of Ardechia.
Stayran and his family are the ones who reside within, and their grounds are envied far and wide by the nobility and the merchant class alike as one of the most splendorous estates in the kingdom.

Location

Marich Manor lies along a tame hilly forest just north-west of the city Razpotye, across the moat and through some fields.
The forest at the back of the manor is relatively small and merely covers the nearby hills, on the other side of which the lands flatten once more and open in to wide flat fields. The forest itself is property of the Lord, and is protected by him and his nobility, as this is where they hunt for sport.

The Manor

The manor itself is a large mansion with two floors, an attic, and a cellar. A great central hall is in the middle, with a grand fireplace and long tables, and a chandelier hanging from the ceiling. Adjacent to it are the east and west wing, one used for residence and living space, both for the family and the servants, with the kitchen, living room, etc. and the other for leisure and study, which is host to the baths, a ball room, a library, as well as the Lord's personal office.
Outside, there is a double tiered garden. 
The lower garden being an avenue of trees leading up to a double stone stairway with a fountain in the centre, which leads up to the upper garden. There are elegant flower beds to both left and right of the avenue, complete with small ponds.
The upper garden is where the main courtyard is, with it's own fountain, a stable, and a pavilion overlooking the lower gardens bellow.
Behind the manor, there is even a hedge maze.
The entirety of the estate is well guarded and fenced in with high steel fencing. Only entry points being the main gate, and a side doorway which leads towards the forest. However, rumor has it that the Lord of the manor has a third secret escape route to leave the estate grounds.
