Kingdom of Corinth

Demography and Population

The Kingdom of Corinth holds dominion over a good portion of the continent's arable land, allowing for not just a high population, but a sustainable one as well. Currently, the Corinthian government claims dominion over almost 169 million souls, though the kingdom is currently experiencing a population growth due to higher crop yields over the past years.

Of the kingdom's millions of souls, a vast majority are human, elf, and gnome, with each making approximately 25% of the population. The remainder minorities favor dwarves, followed closely by half-orcs and tieflings, and the rest of the races behind that.

The Kingdom's urban population is concentrated in seventeen major cities, with the largest being the capital city of Cor, holding just under 560,000 within its walls and another 280,000 in the outlying suburbs and provinces. The smallest major city in Corinth is Port Aegina, home to the Corinthian Defense Navy and holds just under 100,000 souls within its borders.

The rest of Corinth's population is spread through tens of thousands of towns and villages, ranging from a few hundred to just over ten thousand.

Curiously, Corinth also encompasses two separate, autonomous government entities within its borders, the elven city-state alliance of Libertas, Justitas, and Veritas, and the gnomish underground bastion-city of Underforge.

Military

As one of the premier nation-states within the supercontinent of Aurelius, the Kingdom of Corinth operates not only one of the strongest fighting armies on the continent, but a substantial airforce and magus order as well. In fact, the Corinthian Legions are one of the most well trained and equipped forces in the entire realm. Numbering just over two and a half million men and women in arms, the Corinthian Legions are tasked with not only the defense of the nation, but fighting all the monsters, enemies, and horrors that plague the realm as well.

As the first and often last lines of defense for the Kingdom of Corinth, the Corinthian Legions themselves are just as varied as the enemies that they face. From the fireball-throwing Ignis Legions, to the wall of steel that is the Terra Legions, and the cloud-faring vessels of the Ventus Legions, the Kingdom of Corinth has just the right organization and force for just about anything that might come their way.

If you cannot find a way, make your own.
