Name meaning: fast (Egyptian)
Chafulumisa is a Thonisain messenger. To become a messenger, he had to be fast, both underwater and on land. As the fastest messenger, he is the quickest swimmer in the oceans of Realm-R. On land, he is as fast as an average Cahokian or Lakamhaan messenger.
Above land, he has the typical large build of an adult male. He still has some of his fins visible, but they are less pronounced than when underwater. His gills do not disappear, though they are closed. His hair is tied up, with vine-infused seaweed. He wears pants that are breezy and a thin top.
Although Chafulumisa is a messenger, he is also the son of a high-ranking family. His brother works directly under the Vizier and their noble family are guardians to one of the keys related to the sealing of the Cahokian dragon charge, Apep. He has a younger sister that parades the latest fashions, and consistently updates his wardrobe.
There is another sister of his, who lives on land and further West to their village. He often visits her when he goes on land to work, but is the only one from his family to do so. They felt she wanted to betray them and cut her off. Chafulumisa was the only one before she left to live on the land to support her in her research endeavours. His support continues today.
Chafulumisa was only allowed by his family to be a messenger as he is the best. As the best, he gains extra prestige and reputation for the family. Chafulumisa himself just likes to be fast, and have his own time to think.

When not working, he will wear a necklace-collar that is studded with many jewels and extra vine-seaweeds in his hair. He prefers his hair to be tied up in a messy ponytail, slightly to the side. Only on family or political duties will he wear a full headpiece.
