Adventurers of Reality 69 chronicle

Project: Plague Rat   The team gathered for their initial meet-and-greet, but were handed an urgent mission to recapture escaped Neohuman villian Plague Rat. With quick and careful deduction, and Coyote's strong nose, they were able to quickly make their way into the old sewers.   As they traversed the sewers they were suddenly set upon by Plague Rat and his ROUS minions. Flux focused on removing possible environmental threats, including fixing the suddenly cracking ceiling. Amoxi kept Plague Rat busy, while Coyote and Cassiopeia handled the horse-sized lieutenants and Hellfire and Sam S.P.A.D.E. focused on controlling the waves of minions.   As the situation became worse with more minions coming in and the noise of battle causing the ceiling to threaten to collapse, Coyote managed to grab Amoxi and Plague Rat and call for Sam to catch hold to go to the street before teleporting the three of them straight up to the road above. Maelstrom directed the group to head up, and within seconds everyone appeared on the street.   The people on the sidewalks and traffic panicked but the group coordinated excellently to maintain control of Plague Rat and eventually knock him out and cuff him just as the NTS perimeter security squads dropped into place.   The new C.U.N.T.S. were prominently featured on the newscasts across multiple media platforms that evening and afternoon, with much positive coverage for their minimal damage, maximal containment approach.
