Hearts qualed and the streets of Chicago were painted in darkness and fear on the word that a dangerous genetic experiment had escaped from the lab of J-Cell Genenomics, verified subsidiary of Omni Consumer Products, part of Whyne Industries, a divison of Paragon Aquisitions and Parity Affiliations (PAPA). While the particulars of the threat are still unknown, we do know that the Neohuman criminal Riccy Scags, better known as Rotmouth, was in some way involved. Acting in lighting speed response to the threat to the public, the newly reconstructed Costumed Unit of the Neohuman Tactical Squad, began immediate operations to apprehend the amplified villian threat ventured down into the sewers. While we may never know what happened deep beneath the streets, it was with a dramatic flair not seen since Wunderkind's fight with Zero Point over Los Angeles last year, the entire C.U.N.T.S. team appeared in the middle of West Oak Street with a monstrous rat-like being, later identified as Riccy Scags under the influence of some kind of experimental drug or other protocol and going by the moniker Plague Rat. While the nearby traffic and pedestrians were understandably concerned, the well-coordinated Neos of the C.U.N.T.S. kept Plague Rat well contained, even using remarkable illusory wolves to keep the vermin that Plague Rat summoned at bay. The hero that some of you from the midwest may recognize, Amoxi 7, landed the finishing blow, although it was obvious that everyone on the team was equally engaged in maintaining control of the rapacious rat-man. The citizenry of Chicago can rest easier tonight knowning that these new C.U.N.T.S. are walking the streets, both above and below. We look forward to see what is next for these fresh new faces!
