Myrnean
An amphibious race of aliens whose homeplanet of Myrne (formerly known to Earth as KOI 5715.01 in the Cygnus constellation) was invaded by another alien race they refer to as the Ventu'shan. The Myrneans fled this invasion is a series of generational seed ships, proceeded by a fleet of six-person scouting vessels.
One of these scouting vessels landed in Boseman, Montana in 1947, shortly after the NAP. Due to the world-wide issues caused by The Chaos, the arrival of the Myrneans, and their offer of some forms of advanced power and propulsion system in exchange for granting the Marianas Trench below 23000 ft for settlement and development by the Myrneans. These power systems were critical in the early development of amplification suits (the precursors to modern Powered Armor, which helped Human forces have a way to counteract Neohumans to some degree.
Since then two generational ships have arrived and vanished beneath the ocean. The first of these ships arrived in 1975 and the second in 1980. Myrnean liasons told the United Nations to expect a new ship every 10-15 years after that, but none have ever shown up. The Myrneans have not provided an explanation as to why this might be.
The Myrneans have lucrative raw material contracts with each of the Geographical Support Pacts, as well as the Megacorporations. Even so, it is fairly rare to see Myrneans on the surface. The most notable exceptions to this are the actor Rain on Placid Waters and the costumed hero Lightning Strikes the Waves.
The Myrneans report that they have a current population of just over 100000 individuals.
