As a child, she was enrolled in schools of dance that taught both baroque and ballet. She hated the rigorous training and lack of free time at first. But as Wren progressed, it earned her praise and attention which she liked. So, although she gained great technical skill she had no true passion or creativity. In order to hold her own against dance students with more artistic flair, she learned all sorts of ways to undermine them. This habit became more and more deeply ingrained as she got older. After Wren began her professional career, A Toreador Kindred named Charlène took notice of her expertise in pulling off difficult ballet moves and lured her to a secluded spot to talk about dancing ostensibly. Which they did for a bit until Charlène pushed Wren up against a wall and Embraced her.   Wren went with Charlène to the South of France and stayed with her for over a decade. During this time, Charlène realized she had made a mistake and that her Childe had very little creativity. Charlène started spending progressively more and more time with other dancers, pianists, and actors in the hope of finding more originality. Wren naturally felt snubbed and left France one night for America. Settling in Ravenhurst, Connecticut she was welcomed by Prince Lothaire and his Childer, Danika and Artemis. She grew very popular in a short amount of time and quickly became the Lead Harpy. She often danced for the other Kindred at Elysium while sporting dance routines she had stolen from more creative dancers that she passed off as her own. She even earned the right to make a Childe of her own after researching The Time of Bloody Constraint and putting on a performance that purportedly retold the story of Lothaire’s rise to power. She did several costume changes and portrayed Lothaire and his supporters as noble heroes and Whistler’s group as vile villains, except for Noah Smallwood whom she portrayed as a tragically flawed and misguided visionary led astray by a diabolical Prince Whistler. Lothaire and most of the Elders loved it, except for Sullivan who kept looking at his pocket watch and Dreven Borges who sneered at the whole thing. On the next Full Moon, she Embraced a piano player named Trevor Hyde. She spent many happy years guiding Trevor and spurring him on to some of his best work. But it wasn’t to last.   Tragedy struck when a Brujah Diablerist named Kirk Wilder came to Ravenhurst. Kirk successfully stalked and Diablerized two Kindred. One being Nathaniel Montgomery's Childe Eva Valentine and the other being Wren’s Childe Trevor. Heartbroken, Wren still participated in the ensuing Blood Hunt, called by Prince Lothaire against Wilder. It ended with Sullivan and Dreven locating Wilder’s Haven and teaming up to stake the Diablerist through the heart, paralyzing him. The pair dragged Wilder into Lothaire’s court after drinking him dry themselves. Kirk Wilder was given just enough mortal blood to drink to keep him alive through several nights of Wren and Nathainel torturing him to the point of insanity. Wren was given the choice to Diablerize Wilder herself. She took it and once she had drank deeply enough to suck out his soul, she regretted it. She got to feel Wilder’s sick glee over what he had done and it was devastating.   Now Wren continues as Lead Harpy. A deeply insecure person, she socially bullies Kindred who show weakness as a way of hiding her own shortcomings. All while she puts on a facade of being happy and having her shit together. She can make or break the reputation of most other Kindred but is happiest when indulging in character assassination.   Image: Wren is of medium height with an athletic frame. She has black hair and brown eyes. She loves to dress in the latest fashions and rarely wears the same outfit twice.   Roleplaying Hints: Hide your insecurities from others any way you can. This includes acting as if you own whatever place you happen to be in as well as deconstructing the weakness in others. Be careful around high status vampires though. Don’t try to take an Elder down unless you’re sure you can make it stick, especially the Primogen. In any case, your favorite weapons are a raised eyebrow and cruel laughter.
