Biology
Florians are unique as they are not an animal, but a highly intelligent plant species that evolved to have anthropoid body structures due to living among primarily intelligent animal life. The Florian's body consists of many large stems wrapping tightly to form an anthropoid shaped body, these stems carrying nutrients and Mana around the 'body' to all the Plant based organs such as the specialised Heart and Mana Organ. Composed of specialised tissue, this heart pumps nutrients around the body, such as xylem and phloem tissue that can be seen in normal types of Flora. The Florian Mana Organ acts as a traditional Mana organ, controlling the flow and store of Mana. Florians do not need to consume food like other races, as they naturally photosynthesize, taking energy and Mana from the sun, and they can take nutrients to survive from non-intelligent forms of flora. Due to the rapid evolution of the Florian race, there are many species families that have branched off. Florians are mostly native to the Terranial Realm however a sub-race of Florians have evolved to live in the Heliend Realm. Florians often live within smaller communities in towns/villagers built into large forests. However, Florians are also very common within multi-racial towns/cities.Population
Florians have a large population within the Terranial Realm. There being many villagers within many of the forests and plains of Terranial. However, even after The Unification, Florian presence outside Terranial is usually very rare. Mainly due to Terranial having the perfect ecological habitats for them.Lifestyle
Florians typically live in less densely populated areas, many living in small towns within forests, fields, and caverns. Florians live traditional lives, surrounded by nature, as it brings them happiness and life. Many Florians stay in a local area for their lives, as this pleases them. However, many young Florians find wonder in exploring Terranial, visiting cities, towns, villagers all across the land.Nature
Florians are caring in nature, they are taught from sprouting that they are to respect the world of Ravaryn and all life that lays upon it, only make assertions for those who seek to harm that life. Almost all Florians will stick true to this fundamental belief. Florians are unlike other races in the fact they have never engaged in a civil conflict among themselves.Additional Information
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
The Florian has adept sensory capabilities, having better eyesight, smell, and hearing than many other races. On top of this, the Florian has an extreme sense of touch, due to them using their stems to interact with other forms of life. This allows a Florian to feel the emotions and in some cases, even the pain of a lifeform that they physically interact, for an extended period of time, with.
As the Florian consumed nutrients from the Earth and other flora, they had receptors in their roots to detect bacteria. Meaning, they only had this low sense of taste. With the mouth only used for verbal communication with other intelligent races.
However, due to many living near/amongst races such as Humans and Felines, most Florians have evolved to have taste bud nerves within the mouth. Allowing them to taste different types of food made by other races, although most other races are able to taste far more variation than the Florian.

Naming Traditions
As Florians have evolved into different species families, it became common practice to include an individual's subspecies in their name. Similar to how other races use middle names, the Florians will have their forename, then the name of their subspecies, then the name of their individual family.
Culture and Cultural Heritage
Florians praise the Sun, known as Lumi in Florian Language. For all its gifts, for lighting the darkness and for bringing life to Ravaryn. Florian's culture believe that Lumi should always be praised and thanked for these gifts, and it's guidance out of the dark. Florians are plant based organisms, so they believe they have been blessed to have evolved intelligence and therefore should look after all lesser forms of life. These morals mean almost every Florian will protect life, and never seek to harm it. In the requirement to survive, and the progression of the species, Florians have to use life as all other races do. When a Florian must end life or has caused harm to life, they will show upmost respect and possible sorrow.
Florian's culture include many sigils to represent their beliefs. Some common sigils used are:
Inbris - a sign of respect to a living organism that is killed to bring progress, advancement, or health. Written or spoken when a Florian uses a living organism for nutrients or for other reason. Such as cutting down a tree to build a home.
Decidi - representing sun fall, the beginning of night and a gratitude for another day blessed with son. Often written upon the soil outside a Florian's home before sleep.
Falen - a prayer to Lumi, to ask for divine protection, in times of need.
Spell Sigils
These Sigils are imbued with Mana to complete the meaning of the sigil, taught to Florians as they grow to defend the Culture.
Selvi - used to sacrifice one's own Mana to heal and revitalise a dying lifeform or a lifeform in suffering
Luminisi - used to create a shield using one's Mana to protect a lifeform. This requires a Florian to concentrate and gain accelerated Mana flow, using their own physical energy in the process.
Exteri - used to exorcize a foreign body from a lifeform by imbuing the one's Mana in the lifeform to drive out the foreign body
Natural Magic Ability
The Natural Magic Ability of the Florian is known as Helios. This ability allows the Florian to combine the heat energy from the sun, obtained during photosynthesis, with the mana stored in their bodies. Therefore being able to manipulate heated mana. This is primarily used to warm up the body during winter seasons, however this can also be used to create fire with Mana. Because of this, the Florian has access to dangerous fire based Magic Abilities. This being extremely dangerous as Florian's themselves are very flammable, meaning most would only use fire based abilities as a last resort.
